19-year-old student of OLL Girls SHS attacked and raped in dormitory
The victim was attacked while sleeping in her dormitory.
A local of the Gaani community is in the grip of the police in Navrongo for allegedly raping a student of the Our Lady of Lourdes Girls Senior High School.
Details of the Thursday, July 18 incident, are that the suspected rapist sneaked into one of the dormitories during prep time and assaulted the student who was resting in bed after complaining of being ill.
The suspect, the sources said, after committing the dastardly act bolted with a mobile phone device he stole from the dormitory.
Police sources who have confirmed the incident said the suspect has been apprehended. He was tracked down with the help of the stolen mobile phone device.
