Police arrest one suspected attacker of Maxwell Konadu
The suspect, Seidu Musah alias Gaswan, is one of two individuals who allegedly beat Coach Konadu to a pulp after a match against Bofoakwa Tano in Sunyani on Sunday (19 November), ended goalless draw.
The Police has said one of the two suspected individuals who attacked Maxwell Konadu, the coach of Nsoatreman FC, has been arrested.
The suspect, Seidu Musah alias Gaswan, is one of two individuals who allegedly beat coach Konadu to a pulp after a match against Bofoakwa Tano in Sunyani on Sunday (19 November), ended goalless draw.
In a statement on Facebook, the Police said, “The suspect, together with one other person, currently on the run, attacked the coach during a football game, yesterday, 19th November 2023, at the Sunyani Coronation Park”.
The statement added that, “Suspect Seidu Musah is currently in Police custody assisting the investigation while efforts are still ongoing to get the other suspect arrested to face justice, and we will surely get him”,
Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) which has strongly condemned the attack, has imposed a home ban on Bofoakwa Tano with immediate effect.
