Electricity tariffs drop by 1.52%, as water witnesses 0.34% jump in quarterly tariff review

A 1.52% reduction in electricity tariffs has been announced by the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) in the quarterly tariff review.
Water has, however, seen an increase in tariff by 0.34%. This follows the conclusion of regulatory process for the quarterly adjustment of tariff by the PURC.
The quarterly tariff review mechanism seeks to track and incorporate changes in key factors used in determining natural gas, electricity and water tariff.
