Stonebwoy is the only popular GH artiste I know- Reggae icon Hezron Clarke
Hezron Clarke spotlighted Stonebwoy alongside other African music giants such as Davido and Burna Boy.
Renowned reggae artiste Hezron Clarke has lauded Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall Stonebwoy, proclaiming him as the only Ghanaian act he is acquainted with, and boasting a popularity in Jamaica that surpasses all other artistss from Ghana.
Speaking in a recent interview on Asempa FM, Hezron Clarke, currently in Ghana until January 2024, spotlighted Stonebwoy alongside other African music giants such as Davido and Burna Boy.
He emphasised, “I only know about Stonebwoy and some Afrobeats stars like Davido and Burna Boy. It’s only Stonebwoy I hear of in Jamaica; he’s very popular.”
Clarke, who expressed his admiration for Stonebwoy’s global appeal, revealed his intention to collaborate with Ghanaian musicians during his stay. “I’m supposed to collaborate with Wutah Afriyie and Ras Kuuku,” he announced, adding that he also plans to shoot a music video in Ghana.
Stonebwoy, known for his distinctive fusion of reggae and Dancehall, has evidently carved out a significant niche for himself, capturing the attention and admiration of international music icons like Hezron Clarke.
He has collaborated with the likes of Sean Paul, Angelique Kidjo, Keri Hilson, Shaggy among others.
