The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper East Region has commended the media in the region for the crucial role of information dissemination and the provision of a platform for public engagement on national policies.

In a statement released on Sunday 31 December, 2023, its regional communications director, Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga, noted that the efforts of the media in ensuring transparency and accountability in the current government was not going unnoticed.
Ayinbisa continued that the unbiased reportage and dedication from the media had contributed raising an informed public which was adding significantly to the discourse on nation building. He urged the media in the region to continue on that path of righteousness to accelerate development.
