I’ll build a police station for Kologo when elected MP – Alhaji Otito Achuliwor
Achuliwor said the provision of the police station was part of his commitment to enhancing security within the constituency, adding it will help fight crime within the enclave and boost economic activities.
The New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate for the Navrongo central constituency, Alhaji Abdallah Otito Achuliwor has made a solemn promise to bring massive development to Kologo including the province of a police station for the people of Kologo, when elected Member of Parliament in the 2024 general elections.
Achuliwor said the provision of the police station was part of his commitment to enhancing security within the constituency, adding it will help fight crime within the enclave and boost economic activities.
Kologo, just like many other communities in the Upper East Region is faced with an embarrassing lack of police presence. This, criminal have taken advantage of to perpetuate robberies leading to loss of lives and property.
Speaking at the annual Naba Yesiga Festival of the Chiefs and people of Kologo in the Kassena-Nankana municipality, Alhaji Achuliwor said more efforts needed to be made to tackle the deteriorating insecurity in Kologo and neighbouring communities.
He made a personal a personal pledge to begin a police post project within 100 days of his assumption of office as Member of Parliament.
”I want to make a personal commitment to the people of Kologo. That if you make me the MP for Navrongo Central Constituency coming December 7, 2024. I will build a police station for Kologo and I will make sure that the foundation of that police station is laid in my first 100 days in office.”
Achuliwor who noted the importance roads played in fighting crime and boosting the local economy, commended the NPP for taking steps to address the road infrastructure challenges in the constituency.
He made particular mention of the important Navrongo-Kologo-Naaga road project and said government was committed to completing it this year.
He added that, the NPP is a development-oriented political party and that as long as it remains in power, it will continue to prioritise development in all communities across the country.
“I want to remind the people of Kologo that we have renovated the CHPS Compound and we have put up one at Kologo Zuo”
“I want to prove to the people of Kologo that NPP is an action party and they have chosen an action man as their parliamentary candidate. I was elected as NPP parliamentary candidate about four weeks ago, only four weeks ago but I have delivered already in the constituency, is more than others who were elected over one year ago.
“I am always present at every function, and all the festivals that have been held by the chiefs and people of this constituency. I have personally been there and I have personally participated.
“I am very visible, I will continue to be visible and the NPP will continue visible wherever we are.” Achuliwor touted.
