Navrongo people are prepared for change – Akansor

AKansor said the people of Navrongo have tried both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and have decided on who to vote for on 7th December.

The vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Navrongo Central Constituency, Joseph AKansor Aminini has indicated the readiness of the people of Navrongo to embrace the change that Simon Aworigo, the NDC parliamentary candidate for the constituency and the former President John Mahama are poised to bring when to power on the December 7.

Speaking on the Mike FM’s Big Mike Breakfast Show on Tuesday 3rd December 2024, AKansor said the people of Navrongo have tried both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and have decided on who to vote for on 7th December.

“We have carried both water and wine and have seen which of them is heavier. Navrongo and the Ghanaian populates are prepared for change. The people of Navrongo are saying it’s Aworigo’s time, they are saying it is time for the most experienced Politician and former President of this Republic to come back”.

In response to what the NDC Parliamentary candidate for constituency will do for the people of Navrongo if he wins the elections, he intimated that their candidate will partner with the former President to drastically reduce the cost of farming by providing mechanized centers where farmers can easily walk in to access farming inputs to improve their yields.

Touching on the performance of the incumbent Member of Parliament for the Constituency Sampson Tangombu Chiragia, the vice chairman said the MP did his best and it is now the term of the NDC’s Parliamentary candidate for the 2024 elections to come and continue from where the MP left.

He appealed to the people of Navrongo Central Constituency to vote for the party’s Parliamentary candidate and the former President to bring them the change they deserve.
