I’ll use my car loan to purchase borehole drilling machine for constituency – Chiana-Paga MP-elect
The boreholes initiative forms part of the larger “People centered projects" and Alamzy is hopeful it will particularly benefit women for household consumption and dry season vegetable cultivation.
The Member of Parliament-elect for the Chiana-Paga Constituency Nikyema Billa Alamzy has stated that he will channel funds from his car loan as a Member of Parliament to purchase a drilling machine with which he will construct boreholes in every polling station.
Speaking on the Big Mike Breakfast Show on Wednesday 11th December 2024, hosted by David Adapuna, the MP-elect stressed that the provision of potable drinking water for his constituents is a top priority, and he intends to drill 133 boreholes across the constituency.
The boreholes initiative forms part of the larger “People centered projects” and Alamzy is hopeful it will particularly benefit women for household consumption, chores and dry season vegetable cultivation.
The people Centered projects is a seven-chapter document which focuses on Health, Agriculture, Sports, Education, Rural Electrification, Empowerment and the provision of potable drinking water.
The MP-elect, in the interview, underscored his commitment to continuing abandoned projects started by predecessors to better the lives of his constituents.
“It is a norm that when an MP starts a project and is unable to complete it, the next MP will abandon it because when he/she completes it, the credit will go to the predecessor. We are ready to share glory. So, we will try as much to complete all abandoned projects ” He stated.
He urged all Ghanaians to rally behind the agenda to reset the country for a better and prosperous future of opportunities for all.
