Anini Project, which also intervened following the report, provided a handpump borehole to help address the water crisis in the school.
In her speech during the donation, the headmistress Madam Mary Amana, said the separate interventions were significant additions to the school infrastructure which would impact greatly on the lives of the students.
“With a reliable water storage solution now in place, the students can expect a more consistent and accessible water supply, enabling them to uphold essential hygiene practices without hindrance.”
Amana commended A1 Radio for projecting the challenges of the institution leading to the interventions.
“This NGO took a proactive approach by constructing a new borehole for the students, addressing the root cause of the water scarcity issue. It drilled a new borehole for us.”
The Programs Director for AquaBolg Foundation, Ebo Bruce Quansah who made the present, stressed that the organization was commitment to providing essential supports in the community.
