Citizen Rising changes name to Rising Advocates Network

Advocacy group Citizen Rising has announced a change in name to Citizen Rising Network, a statement from the organization has said.
The organization, in the statement signed by Abakuri Issa Nawas, head of IT and Publicity, said the change in nomenclature is part of continuous efforts to reflect on the mission, values and commitment towards empowering individuals and communities through advocacy and active engagement.
Under its new name, the organization will continue to serve as a platform for fostering public discourse on social issues and leading positive change.
The statement said the transition will not affect the operations of the organizations.
