Cleared presidential candidates meet at EC today to ballot for positions
Out of 24 presidential candidates who submitted paperwork, 13 have been cleared to compete in the race.
Presidential candidates for the 2024 December elections will today converge at the Headquarters of the Electoral Commission for balloting to determine the order of names on the ballot paper.
The balloting follows the EC’s release of the list of qualified candidates for the upcoming crucial polls.
Out of 24 presidential candidates who submitted paperwork, 13 have been cleared to compete in the race.
Among the qualified candidates are opposition leader and former president John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress, Nana Kwame Bediako, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party and former trade minister John Alan Kojo Kyeramaten.
