ICOUR: GAWU to stage protest over Dr Aligebam’s refusal to hand over

The union, in a statement, said the protest has become necessary following Dr Aligebam’s refusal to hand over affairs of the company.

The General Agricultural Workers Union of Ghana has announced plans to stage a protest on Thursday October 24, 2024, over Dr Bonaventure Aligebam’s refusal to leave office as Managing Director of ICOUR.

The union, in a statement, said the protest has become necessary following Dr Aligebam’s refusal to comply with several letters to leave office, including one from the Chief of Staff at the Presidency, directing him to stop holding himself out as Managing Director and duly hand over.

The statement urged members of the public to join the protest to ensure that Dr Aligebam respects the laws of the company and country by handing over affairs of the company.
