Nollywood stars are not wealthy as people think – Patience Ozokor

Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor popularly known as Mama G, has stated that stars in Nigeria’s film industry are not as wealthy as people may think.

The talented veteran actress, now turned evangelist, comment comes as several Nigerian actors including Chiwetalu Agu, Clem Ohameze, Hanks Anuku, among others, have circulated financial appeals on social media.

Reacting to the trend, Ozokor said actors often save less than they spend, due to societal pressure.

“The clothes you wear matter a lot to the public, and you cannot wear the same attire twice,” Ozokor explained.
