The Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, has announced a 25-man squad for Ghana’s upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Sudan.
The match, scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium, is a crucial fixture in Ghana’s bid to secure a spot in the 2024 AFCON tournament.
Star players such as captain, Thomas Partey, and Jordan Ayew have all been named in the squad. They are joined by in-form players like Mohammed Kudus, Antoine Semenyo, and Inaki Williams who have been impressive for his club in Europe.
Others include Tariq Lamptey, Lawrence Ati Zigi, Alezander Djiku and Joseph Wallacott.
Otto Addo has also included some rising stars from Ghana’s local leagues, Fredrick Asare from Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
